600 JOzsef Miszti 09

IGSA and the skateboarding world would like to congratulate Jozsef Miszti from the USA for receiving the first ever number 600 in the history of the IGSA.

Well I started riding about 3 1/2 years ago one of my best friends, David convinced me to try a board and the second I stood on it he put me at the top of the biggest hills in our neighborhood and said go for it. So of course I stood on the board rode for about 10 feet and ate pavement. Got right back up and we started riding around our neighborhood rode around town and just spent the entire day riding. I just got so stoked on riding.

It opened my eyes to the world around me and I just loved it right away. So after that I bought my own board and started cruising for a bit. Then my friends would take road trips to all these wicked places like Berkeley and San Fran.  So I decided to start learning and practicing so I could be with them and have fun. So I been downhilling and slopestyling for about 2 1/2 years and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have competed in outlaws and such but never in a actually igsa race.  So I finally signed up this year and decided to race with the big boys. I am really looking forward to meeting new people and travelling and just hanging out and skating with some rad dudes.
