Bathurst, Australia - David Dean from Columbus, Ohio, USA beat three time defending Champion Nick Duffield in today's Street Luge Final. Dean out paddled his rivals off the start and then held onto the lead the whole way down.
He was under intense pressure from Duffield on several occasions who was bumping into the back bumper of Dean's luge, but the Aussie couldn't find a way to get by. Last week's Mt Keira World Cup winner Abdil Mahdzan from Malaysia was third and now has a commanding lead in the IGSA World Cup Series points.
