Teolo, Italy - Ramon Konigshausen earned the number one qualifying position for tomorrow's Padova Grand Prix with an amazing 1:57.146 time that broke James Kelly's day old track record. Konigshausen has taken the pole position in Padova two out of the last three years. Kelly was unable to better his Friday time but it was still fast enough to hang on for second. Patrick Switzer was also unable to improve on his Friday effort but his time was good enough for third. Mischo Erban made a huge move up in the final qualifying run and will start fourth. Douglas Silva put in a strong effort on his second qualifying run and will start fifth.
