Kogelberg, South Africa - Come celebrate Hot Heels Africa's 10th year in the making December 6th - 9th 2012.  Hot Heels Africa has been running since December 2003. The last of the IGSA World Cup series and hosted by S.A.G.R.A (South African Gravity Racing Association).  The event is run in the beautiful Kogelberg Biosphere nature reserve an hours drive from Cape Town. Hot Heels Africa has been the deciding race for many top ranked IGSA racers to see who will be No.1 in the world rankings. Riders from around the world have made their way to this intense 1.9km course that demands respect from all downhill racers.

Race Course:
The course is run on the tight two lane Buffelstal access road. Due to the road being so narrow riders are faced with a tight fast challenging race with a fast top section that leads to Lloyd’s Left. Lloyd’s Left exists to a straight past Buffelstal Dam and into the infamous “Baboon bend” and ending with a straight finish.

Classes:
Awards will be given to the top four finishers in each category in Street Luge, Classic Luge, Downhill Skateboard, Junior Skateboard, Ladies Skateboard and IGSA World Cup Points will be awarded in the four classes.

Technical Inspection:
All racing vehicles and safety equipment will be subject to a strict technical inspection before being allowed on the race course. Complete rules and regulations are available at www.igsaworldcup.com

Indemnity Forms:
All riders must fill out a indemnity form before been allowed to race. Entrants under the age of 18 require a signature from parent or legal guardian.

Registration:
Registration will take place at 09h00 on the first and second mornings of the event, and will be payable in cash only!

Entry Fees:
R1400 General price  - R1800 Late entry & on the day entry
 
Spectators:
R30 adults R15 Scholars
