The Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve is about an hour’s scenic drive south east of Cape Town along the False Bay coast. The reserve is known as the "heart of the fynbos kingdom" and is home to an incredible 1 600 different plant species, making it one of the world's richest sites of plant diversity! The race track is situated in a former missile-testing area and includes a dam that provides water to the nearby towns of Rooi-Els and Pringle Bay
