The IGSA is now accepting proposals from event organizers who would like to host the 2009 IGSA World Championships. Each year the IGSA selects one World Cup event to serve as the World Championships. This year the Maryhill Festival of Speed scheduled for August 27-31 in Goldendale, Washington, USA will host them. It will be the first time the World’s are being held outside of Europe. “ As the sport continues to grow, we are having more and more organizers asking to host the World Championships” said IGSA President Marcus Rietema. “We want everyone to have the opportunity to bid so that we can offer the best event possible to the riders.”
