With nearly 2.000 spectators attending the day race on the Argentinian mountains of San Luis, Douglas Silva took off to his South American season by winning the downhill skateboard after dominate de qualifying day with a lead of 4 seconds over 2nd  place position.

Brazilian Max Ballesteros whom placed 2nd on qualifying and was appearing to be the one to challenge Dalua was unlucky as he crashed by his own when leading his round of 32.

Felipe Malaga from Peru improve his performance from yesterday to get his place besides Douglas while Thiago Lessa from Brazil finished 3rd to get the last spot on the podium.

Daniel Machado from Brazil followed his domination on qualifying to earn the first continental cup in Argentina and took the ranking lead for Juniors Downhill.

Brazil got his third win on street luge with fellows Leo Borton first, Walter Baresi second and Jonathan Rodrigues third.

Than was Mariza Nunez from Peru to lead the highest place on podium by winning the Women Downhill with Brazilian Christie Aleixo in second and Cami Pucheta getting the place to represent Argentina in the podium.

Next round of South American IGSA Series will take place in Colombia in october and when the IGSA WC will attend Los Portales de Tarma in Peru certainly they will note how South America is taking Downhill Hill skate really serious.
