you have also noticed that the Descente Race is not taking place in the middle of Lausanne, but will be on a very challenging track in Montreux !

Tongue Wins In New York

Windham, New York, USA - Alex Tongue earned his second IGSA victory of the season winning yesterday's inaugural I Love DH Skateboard & Street Luge race in Windham, New York.  The race was round #2 of the 2012 IGSA NorAm Downhill Series and featured a number of innovative format and rules tweaks designed to encourage participation and increase the fun factor.

Reimer Wins Vernon

Reimer Vernon

Vernon, Canada- Kevin Reimer scored a convincing win in today's Vernon DH8.  The race, held in British, Columbia, was round one of the 2012 IGSA NorAm Downhill Series.  Reimer held a commanding lead at the finish over second placed Zen Shikaze.  Brendan Davidson was a close third followed by reigning Vernon DH Champion Patrick Switzer. 

In the Consolation Final Andrew Chapman was victorious to earn fifth place.  Jonas Richter finished second and Justin Ortiz was third.  Number one qualifier James Kelly had qualified for the Consi-Final but was unable to start after suffering a minor injury in his Semi-Final heat.  He was credited with eighth place.
