The pre-cursor to next weekend's IGSA World Cup event was held today and yesterday in Cape Town, on Houwteq Hill. The small amount of riders gave it a grassroots feeling, and meant that there were tons of runs. Oliver Neilsen's many hours on his board paid off, when he qualified 1st.

Andrew Chapman showed up at Bonelli Park on Sunday morning without ever turning a wheel on the track.  He went out and learned the course during the 1.5 hour morning warm up session and then had to start from the back of the grid.

San Dimas, CA, USA- 2007 IGSA World Cup Series Champion Erik Lundberg laid down a blistering first qualifying run today to earn the number one qualifying spot for tomorrow's US Nationals.  The Sector 9 team rider is currently living in San Diego while attending college.
