Grabouw, South Africa - High Rising event will start off the SAGRA - IGSA season on February 26, 2011. The venue is nestled between pine forests, fynbos and Martian like landscape, the Houwteq complex is situated 4km off the N2 just out side Grabouw.
The course is quick and fast, starting at the top riders push down a short straight into a tight right-hander. The hill banks to the left as you speed down the hill, about mid way riders will need to negotiate a hay bail chicane before the last drop which dips into the tight left-hand High Rising Dip aka "CARNAGE CORNER". The course is 1km long from top to bottom.
