Peyragudes, France- It was a beautiful, crisp morning in the Pyrenees Mountains of Southern France. Friday’s rain and heavy fog gave way to sunny skies and a temperature of 15C. Everyone was stoked for a beautiful day of racing.
Peyragudes France- Louis Pilloni (USA) beat an incredibly tough international field to win the first IGSA World Cup of the 2009 season. Erik Lundberg (SWE) made his first appearance in a final since Australia in 2008 to earn second place and Martin Siegrist (SUI) finished third. Number one qualifier Mischo Erban (CAN) crashed and had to settle for fourth.
Peyragudes, France- Rain and heavy fog have foreced the cancellation of the third day of racing at the Peyragudes 2Luxe Cup. Plans are for the race to go ahead as scheduled rain or shine. There was lots of racing action on Thursday in addition to Open downhill Skateboarding.
