Calgary, Canada - Jackson Shapira from Sydney, Australia earned the number one qualifying position for tomorrow's Winsport Canada Cup. Shapiera set a quick time of 1:28.945 on the 1.5 km (.9mi) race course located in Canada Olympic Park, site of the 1988 Winter Olympics.
Calgary, Canada - Fredrik Lindstrom laid down a blistering run of 1:33.484 to lead day one qualifying of the 2011 Winsport Canada Cup. Lindstrom, who hails from Stockholm, Sweden shocked many of his peers with his quick time. He was the 2006 IGSA world Cup Series Champion but due to work and family committments, rarely races at the World Cup level anymore.
