Brianne Davies continued her run as the world’s fastest female downhill skateboarder but received some stiff competition from Sweden’s Kristina Engstrand.  Davies time of 3:03.449 was only 1/100th of a second quicker than Engstrand’s 3:03.459.  Engstrand has really improved her skating over the off-season and seems be a legitimate threat to Davies.  Tomorrow’s second qualifying run will be very interesting.
