Zepplin Films has just released this amazing short film featuring Douglas Silva, Kevin Reimer, Mischo Erban, Erik Lundberg and others as the competed in the 2010 Malarrara Pro Teutonia IGSA World Cup race.
The film does an amazing job of sharing the sights, sounds and feelings that make Teutonia special. On November 4-6, 2011, the best downhill skateboarders from around the globe will once again descend on Teutonia for the 10th IGSA World Championships.
Kevin Reimer is the defending Teutonia Champion but he was injured early in the year and has missed the entire IGSA World Cup season so far. Kevin is back skating again but it remains to be seen if he will be racing in Brazil.
2011's most dominant skater Patrick Switzer has all but wrapped up the 2011 World Cup Series Championship with four World Cup victories. Switzer will be making his first trip to Teutonia. It will be interesting to see how quickly he comes to grips with the narrow, rough and high speed course.
Douglas Silva will be looking for his second IGSA World Cup win in Teutonia and his fourth overall win at Teutonia. He's finished second there the last two years and would like nothing more than to win his first World Championship on his home turf.
Mischo Erban was the 2009 Teutonia winner and finshed third in 2010. He's very hungry and the official IGSA World Speed Record Holder loves going fast. Mischo would love to add a World Championship to his 2009 World Cup Series Championship.
Teutonia is shaping up to be the battle of the year!
